Visit of the Mariners' House of Montreal

On September 13, our Executive Director Manou Bernard had the pleasure of visiting the Mariners' House of Montreal. The visit was an opportunity to discuss the well-being of Canadian seafarers, and to discover how this establishment supports seafarers in stopovers by offering by offering them essential services such as transportation, communication tools, and a warm welcome.

Manou also took the opportunity to present the initiatives of the Human Resources Sectorial Committee of the Maritime Industry (CSMOIM), which since 2001 has been committed to supporting skills development for the maritime industry workforce and promoting its fascinating careers.

The day highlighted the importance of paying close attention to the well-being of seafarers, and discussing possible collaborations between organizations like the CSMOIM and the Mariners' House of Montreal.
